Recipient of the 2005 Innovative Architecture & Design Award from Recreation Management Magazine, the Morgan Hill Aquatic Center has “set the standard of excellence in the recreation community”. The newly constructed facility exemplifies environmentally sensitivity and sustainable design principles and was recently awarded a LEED Silver Certification from the USGBC (the first outdoor aquatic facility to receive LEED certification). The facility features a 50-meter all-deep competition pool, an activity pool and play structure, a waterslide, a 4-lane lap pool, special events facilities, and concessions and group picnic areas. The aquatic center is a culmination of over 10 yeas of community advocacy and has tremendously enhanced the community’s pride and spirit.
