As
SMCCCD’s district engineer and surveyor,
Sandis has been working closely with district
staff and the CM/PM on the capital improvements
outlined in the $207 million bond measure that
was passed in 2001. Since that time,the District
has been working aggressively to meet the needs
of the students and faculty through improvements
to the San Mateo, Skyline and Canada campuses.
In addition to the addition of buildings and
improvements to existing facility, a significant
amount of work was required to update the aging
utility and roadway infrastructure. District-wide
projects include: utility feasibility studies,
storm drainage analysis and planning. Specific
