Beginning in 2002, Sandis served as the District Engineer and Surveyor for all Measure C projects. As part of our contract, Sandis has provided civil engineering and surveying services for modernization and renovation of the District’s three campuses, including district wide improvements. Modernization include the construction of new facilities, renovations of existing facilities and infrastructure modifications. Services include topographic surveys for each campus, as well as the preparation of grading and drainage plans, storm, sanitary sewer and domestic water plans, and street improvement plans. Project included submittals to the Oakland Division of the DSA and the local Fire Marshal. Our role as District Engineer began with the passing of 2002 $207 million bond and has continued through the passage of the 2005 Measure A bond for $468 million.
