The field of stormwater engineering, science, and regulation is constantly changing, and with that comes updating the goals and objectives for all parties involved to benefit and operate efficiently. Since 2015, Sandis has consulted on multiple SWCP reviews working with the University of Santa Clara, and its partners throughout the entirety of the design phase and through post construction, monitoring and sampling runoff from construction, performing post construction field inspections, MRP training for campus maintanance staff and creating a campus wide O&M agreement.
Sandis has provided similar stormwater management services for water districts, sanitation districts, counties, cities, and private companies throughout the Bay Area, our stormwater compliance team has compiled hundreds of annual reports for public and private entities to submit to the State Waterboards. Our team has designed bioswales, flow through planters, pervious pavers, rain cisterns for storage and reuse as irrigation. We have also utilized Low Impact Design elements such as draining sidewalks to landscaping rather than the street gutter, maximizing and maintaining existing vegetation, minimizing impervious areas, directing roof runoff to planting areas. Our stormwater management team has decades of experience not only in design and compliance but in community and client engagement.
