UC Davis Health, Emergency Services and Surgery Pavilion

Sandis provided surveying and engineering services for the development of UC Davis’ 470,000 s.f. emergency services and surgery pavilion. The new facility features an emergency room that is 62% larger than the previous ER and also provides operating rooms, central sterile, cardiology services, MRI, CT and other radiology services and 24-30 additional ICU beds. The facility also provides non-hospital space including a new entrance lobby, kitchen and dining rooms and selected clinical lab functions. Sandis’ surveying services include the preparation of a topographic survey. Sandis’ engineering services include the preparation of a site demolition plan, grading and drainage plans, storm, sewer and water plans, horizontal control plans, and off-site frontage improvement plans. Services also include technical specifications, construction notes and details and fire access and circulation plans as well as NPDES compliance.
