SANDIS provided services for the renovation of a 95,900 s.f., 1931 building that houses the gymnasium. The roble gym renovation project included: renovation scope, including accessibility upgrades, restroom retrofits, upgrades to mechanical, electrical and plumbing; systems and seismic upgrades; renovation of an existing gymnasium into an a-1 theater use; renovation of existing locker rooms into usable spaces for the campus; miscellaneous upgrades throughout - some flooring replacement, retrofit of existing exposed conduits to be concealed, new exterior stairs and ramps to support exiting paths of travel; and adherence to the California historic code for historic elements of the building renovation. The renovation encompasses 4,382 s.f. of business space, 4,584 s.f. of general college space, 3,196 s.f. auditorium space, 2,484 s.f. of stage space, 12,097 s.f. gymnasium, and a 265 seat theater.
