Did you know that women comprise about 10.3% of employees in the constructions industry? At Sandis, we’re proud to have such strong women leading our team toward excellency. We’re grateful for everything they do to improve the communities where we live, work and play and we’re eager to walk down the paths they continue to forge. Highlighted here are a handful of the hard-working women that contribute greatly to Sandis’ success.
Jillian started at Sandis in 2018 as a Design Engineer, she has since been awarded her Civil Engineering License she now works as a Project Engineer. She works alongside principals and project stakeholders, helping to plan and build our communities. Jillian has supported Sandis projects all over the Bay Area, if you keep an eye out, and maybe you’ll see a project she worked on! Jillian is an a great team member and we are excited to see her grow her engineering career here at Sandis.
Nicole started at Sandis as a Project Control Specialist, and is now working as a Utility Locating Manager. Nicole is involved in the planning and execution of projects for the Survey team. Utility locating is dynamic and every changing, there are lots of factors that go into a successful project. Variables like soil condition, other nearby utilities, site obstructions are all factors that require hands-on approach and complex problem solving skills. Nicole enjoys the challenge, and we are glad to have her expertise here at Sandis!
Iana is a Construction Survey Estimator here at Sandis. She received her Masters in engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and worked as a systems engineer before moving on to construction estimating. As a Construction Survey Estimator, Iana is an essential part of the foundation of every project. Iana’s extensive experience makes her an invaluable member of the Sandis team.
Everyone at Sandis is exceptional in their own way, it is important that we create a collaborative workplace– an environment that fosters the exchange of expertise and experience. Iana, Nicole and Jillian are invaluable members of the Sandis team and are an essential part of making Sandis the kind of firm that it is.
