The project also included a second, pre-engineered storage building for supporting materials and vehicles, outdoor fire truck wash off area with sand/oil interceptor, and a training area in the parking lot. As part of the offsite improvements, SANDIS designed an advance warning system that was interconnected to the nearby traffic signal at the intersec-tion of Cherokee Lane and East Pine Street.
