Campbells Hosts a Summer Cornhole & Darts Tournament
It didn’t take long for competitors in Sandis to give it another shot with a summer cornhole and darts tournament, a rematch of sorts fresh after a successful debut this latest spring. Will the champions from season’s past get to hold onto their trophies or will others come to claim the thrones?
This time, folks in Campbell took things outside so cornhole bags could be tossed freely and touch the sky. No more bags lodged into the ceiling! And of course, the summer weather was perfect for Sandis Brews—Pilsner and red ale courtesy of Nate—and pizza, great carbs to fuel our players’ ultimate game. Everyone had a unique throwing style, as shown below.
As the leaderboard narrowed down, the contestants slowly upped the ante. After an afternoon of intense anticipation and spectating, the winners were decided. Through perfect throws, Adam and Erin became the new cornhole champions. Erin and Laura wrestled their way to the top to lay claim to the darts trophies. What an amazing performance they all put on! Erin is unstoppable, winning both tournaments in the same season. She’s one to look out for next season, but anyone could prove to be a good challenger. All those who played and cheered on got to savor an afternoon of fantastic entertainment, solid sportsmanship, and quintessential summer vibes. Now we’re going to practice for the next tournament!
