Fun and Brews with Sandis on the Green
Engineering and surveying aren’t the only things we’re good at—we can tee off with a good swing and bring the party to the green, too! Sandis returned to the wonderful Castlewood Golf Course in Pleasanton to proudly sponsor the AGC Bay Area Region Golf Tournament for our third year in a row.
On this beautiful day nestled in the East Bay hills, Nicole, Bruce, Damon, Adam, and Vivien set up a Sandis booth at hole #17 to welcome 120 players; industry partners and general contractors. Many told us they remembered us from last year or that we were their favorite table. And for good reason! There was no shortage of entertainment at our booth, with Sandis Brews, a prize wheel, and nifty swag like hats and popular SPF chapsticks. Players who whiffed would blame it on the beer on tap but that’s a compliment in our eyes. They couldn’t resist the Boundary Dispute Farmhouse Ale and Surveyors Delight Peach Passionfruit Cider crafted by our very talented Nate Dickinson. It was the perfect icebreaker, a refreshing “ahhh” to top off a beautiful day on the course.
Our team got to share Sandis’ work and what we’re all about while making new and old connections with partners in the industry. That’s a success in our books. The wind blew away our canopy, but that didn’t stop Adam and Nicole from taking a few swings. A hole-in-one for Sandis, that’s without a doubt!
