Sandis provided engineering, surveying, utility locating and QSD/QSP services to the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District on their Public Safety Complex project. The new, 42,000 square-foot Public Safety Center and Advanced Manufacturing and Transportation Facility, replacing outdated facilities, is a significant project for the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District. It boasts a welding lab, automotive tech facility, EMS simulation lab and situation rooms, fire training with “Class A” burn areas, advanced manufacturing classrooms, faculty offices, and a dean’s suite. Multiple Career Technical Education (CTE) programs will be elevated by this facility.
The facility also includes a 2,400 square-foot, three-story fire training tower.
